Verschiedene Figuren spielen, in andere Rollen schlüpfen, jemand komplett anderes sein, welche:r Improspieler:in liebt das nicht? Doch schnell bleiben wir gefangen in Figuren, die funktionieren, die wir beherrschen. Viel zu häufig schlüpfen wir nur oberflächlich in eine Figur und verlieren diese je länger eine Szene oder ein Game dauert.
In diesem Workshop beschäftigen wir uns damit, wie sich Figuren auf verschiedenen Ebenen verankern lassen - in Stimme, Körperhaltung, Dynamik, Spannung, mit Vorstellungsbildern, biografischen ‚Tatsachen’, Mantras usw. Wir probieren aus, wie viel Figur es für eine jeweilige Situation braucht, und gehen auf die Suche, um unser Typen-Repertoire zu erweitern und über verschiedene Zugangsmöglichkeiten unseren Figuren treu zu sein.
About Simone
Simone Schwegler from Zurich (Switzerland) has been improvising on and off stage for 20 years and travels as a professional improvisation player, trainer and coach both at home and abroad.
As a passionate player, she is known for her boundless joy of playing, diverse emotions, and physicality on stage. She loves starting DIY and craft projects (and finishing very few of them), orderly colors, and well-mannered nonsense.
Simone soon realized that Switzerland was too small for her, so in addition to her training as a theater educator, she also pursued further training and education abroad, including at iO in Chicago, with Randy Dixon in Seattle, and with Keith Johnstone and Shawn Kinley during a six-month study visit at Loose Moose in Calgary. As an improvisational globetrotter, she spent a long time touring more than at home and has performed, coached, and taught workshops at various festivals and with groups in 13 countries.
Simone is a co-founder of the European improv network OHANA and the SPUNK improv festival, and is a permanent ensemble member, co-owner, and former artistic director of anundpfirsich. The Zurich-based anundpfirsich has been improvising on stages in Switzerland and Europe since 2005. The ensemble performs improv shows several times a week in the specially founded Theater im Zollhaus, one of the largest improv houses in Europe. It develops innovative forms of improvisational theater and offers courses, personal development, seminars, and training in professional settings. Simone helped anundpfirsich become European Champion in Improv Theater (2024) and the reigning Swiss Champion in Theatersport (2022).
